Like a trip to Hell wasn’t enough!!! Melissa took me to the Poo Exhibit at the Science Center. I have the photos to prove it!! More later down the blog for that. We went to the Singapore Science Center. So much fun.
At the entrance, the Museum has a really cool visual exhibit. The visuals are all optical illusions. In this one, you stare at the middle of the moving circle and when you look away the object on which you focus looks like it is moving.
The Museum has an exhibit about poo. Very interesting. When Melissa’s parents were younger a truck came by the house and picked up their poo. You took the poo down to the truck and they hauled it away. Really cool!!! The exhibit also had a Royal Throne, which Melissa enjoyed. I put my ear to a hiney to hear it fart. The walls were covered with hineys that made different farting noises. We laughed and laughed! Nothing like some gas to make you laugh. The wide pink line below my feet is the length of a real tapeworm removed someone’s intestine.
Nothing like a good poo to make you hungry. We went straight away to have lunch. She took me to intestinally friendly laksa at 328 Katong Laksa. Gordon Ramsey challenged them to a cook off and lost. He said he could never make good laksa because it is has too many ingredients.
After that I needed to spend some time “smelling the roses”, so I spent Saturday at the Singapore Botanic Gardens UNESCO World Heritage Site. Beautiful place. My friend Tim would most likely pitch a tent a camp there. The best place was the orchid garden. If you are not a flower or orchid fan, then I would say skip the next batch of pictures. They are not too bad for phone photos (iPhone 13 ProMax).
Keeping the POO Palace way in the back of my mind, I went to a local food market called a “hawker center”. Ghim Meh Market and Food Center has great food. I checked online for best eats there and found Hong Kong Soy Sauce Chicken Rice and Noodles. I went there for the rice and left with the noodles! The red stuff is the BEST roasted pork. It tasted like candy it was sooooooo good!

The flowers were pretty but I didn’t see but one.
I will check again. I thought they were all there.
Reading about the poo exhibit had me laughing again! The photos of the orchids you took at the botanic gardens are beautiful!!
