Singapore is a Utopia!!! Perfectly manicured with a rainforest right inside the mall and the airport has gardens. Not kidding. I loved making new friends in Singapore. Happy Valentine’s Day to them and hope to see them again soon!!
Jewel Changi Airport has a mall attached. Really nice airport–famous. The mall has the worlds largest indoor waterfall surrounded by a beautiful rainforest.
There was a desert in the terminal I used. A terminal has a butterfly garden and there are other gardens.
The mall was celebrating Disney’s 100th year. Love Toy Story and Inside Out!
Before I left, Melissa suggested a traditional Singapore breakfast. The eggs are soft-boiled meaning the white is gelatinous. You break the eggs and eat them separate or stir them together. I opted for the last option as I was not sure I would be able to eat the white part runny. You dip the highly buttered bread into the egg mixture. The yellow stuff you see running out of the bread is BUTTER!! Martha Stuart would be proud. YUM!!
If you are following the blogs, you will know about the Cnythia’s snails and their amazing ability to stand on end when their rock gets too hot. Cynthia sent me some pictures to share. She took these during her work. The snails secret a glue that allows them to stand on end. Amazing!!
The first one is Echinolittorina malaccana stacked on top of a standing individual. The second one is Echinolittorina vidua ‘stood’ on rock surface. These are way better than anything manmade!!!!

I could not eat much of it. I did try it. Not too bad. I just could not get over eating the white not cooked.
