We leave from and arrive at so many places in our lives. We usually think of leaving a place as sad and arriving somewhere as happy or fun. Of course, this is not always how turns out.

I think the Team was very ready to go after just a few days. My house looked like a birdhouse. I had an ant nest under my bed. I woke up during the night covered in ants and had to pick them off and get out of the bed to sweep them onto the floor. We did not find the ant nest until the day before we left. I was lucky!!

Deni and Sherlo had rats in the ceiling. The first night the rats were in their kitchen so they slept with the lights on after that. The rats stayed in the ceiling but made so much noise at night running around they could not sleep. I will take my ants over their rats. They were so excited when the driver showed up they were doing happy dances!!

I must have gotten more sleep than they did. On the way home, they were out cold.

I arrived in Bangkok, Thailand October 15. This was a happy arrival. I look forward to this part of the adventure!
