This morning we went to the traditional market. Do not confuse this with a grocery store. The traditional market is way more fun and you can find some awesome food.
These beautiful ladies were cooking up my favorite–fried bananas. I also tried fried fermented cassava and sweet potato mixed with brown sugar fried. YUM!!!

We walked to the market, but the best way to get home is in a Bentor. Woohoo it was fun! I think Yoga had as much as I did.

We were home from the market by 7:30am. Then off to meet another fish basket maker, who is 90 years old. This basket is different from the last one I posted. The last basket maker put a side entrance on his basket and it stood upright. This fish trap maker put the entrance on the bottom and laid it down in the water. His small basket sells for $3.00. The large basket nearly as tall as me sells for $30.
