If you are following my posts, you will know I was home the last 2 weeks. Loved being home with everyone. Spent time with my family and some friends. I am very lucky to have both that love me!!! My sisters, a husband, a partner, and nieces all merged at Momma and Daddy’s to celebrate a late Christmas. We had an amazing time. We even got to see snow on our faux Christmas Day!!! You would think we had never seen snow before!

One of the best parts of being home was seeing Momma and Daddy. Momma has Alzheimers. I took lots of pictures of her while I was home, but I do not think she would like me to post them here. Instead, the photograph below is a picture Daddy gave each of us for Christmas. This is Momma when she was young. Momma’s sister-in-law brought the pictures to Daddy. My Daddy’s school teacher used to tell him he married one of the most beautiful women in Lillington. I think Mrs. Byrd was right.

I cannot decide if I was more excited to see Cooper or if he was more excited to see me! I gave him a game for Christmas. He enjoyed opening the package more than he enjoys figuring out the puzzle to get the treats.
